Antique USC punting trophy- 1926-1942

This is the antique USC trpophy. On the front it says " Sampsell Preston perpetual trophy for proficiency in punting to be contested for each year by the varsity squad of the University of Southern California in such manner as the Head Coach shall direct the name of each winner to be engraved here on." The back has the years 1926-1942 on it with the name of each winner for that year. For most of those years, Howard Harding Jones was the head coach. The trophy shows its age, with a nice patina. The punter on the top is amazing, including the interlocking SC on his uniform. Truly an amazing piece of USC football history.
